Seasonal Delights and Local Flavors
Over 53% of the food served on board hails from the Galapagos Islands – including meats, cheeses, bread, various fruit and vegetables, while others such as coffee, cacao, bananas and pineapple arrive from the Ecuadorian mainland.
Gastronomic Excellence at its best
Our carefully crafted menus are somewhat of an art form – meticulously devised by our talented chefs and led by Executive Ecuadorian Chef, Andrés Robles. They showcase locally caught fish and seafood, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and a variety of other ingredients, primarily sourced from nearby farms whenever feasible.
A Unique Culinary Onboard Experience
All meals are freshly prepared and inspired by Relais & Châteaux’s philosophy. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style, and a delicious, beautifully presented, four-course dinner begins with a daily amuse-bouche. Gourmet snacks are served after each shore excursion, and there is a daily afternoon tea service. Our chefs’ lively cooking demonstrations are a favorite among guests.Â
There is always a vegetarian option available, and vegan and gluten-free meals can also be provided.
Signature Cocktails, Fine Wines, and Island Flavors
An intimate indoor bar is available, offering signature cocktails, red, white, and rosé wine, beer, sodas, juices, coffee, tea, and snacks. All beverages are included with our open bar policy, while premium brands of wine and spirits are available for purchase. Guests can also partake in an espresso martini demonstration featuring Islander Galapagos coffee and a craft beer tasting featuring Reptilia, an artisanal beer produced in Santa Cruz.
