Following a careful assessment by the Galapagos authorities, visitors are now free to visit these wonderful islands again. A mere three percent of the islands are inhabited by humans and just one percent of the protected areas of the Galapagos National Park are accessible to visitors, so the Galapagos has long been viewed as an example of sustainable tourism.
The return of responsible travel on July 1st is being welcomed by the local community, whose economy and livelihoods are almost entirely dependent on tourism.
With our own enhanced sanitation protocols in place, we are ready to welcome guests back to enjoy this paradise on earth once more.
