Brush up on your photography skills

The Galapagos, and the wildlife that make it one of the most unforgettable destinations on earth, are one of the world’s most photogenic locations – a photographer’s paradise where sealions and iguanas pose endlessly for photos on every beach, fearless birds nest only meters from the trails and the marine life are as friendly as they are abundant.

There couldn’t be a better place to practice your photography and develop your skills, and how better to do so than in the company of a professional photographer?

Antonio will be on hand throughout the voyage to offer tips, guidance and know-how to help you finesse your photography and capture everything these stunning islands have to offer. As well as helping you understand your camera, he will explain the technicalities of composition and framing and offer tips for wildlife photography in particular to help you take that perfect shot.

As a naturalist and qualified diving specialist, he is also ideally placed to discuss the flora and fauna that surround you on a trip to the archipelago at the same time – the perfect combination for a Galapagos voyage!

Get away from it all

In light of the global pandemic, people have been craving holidays to remote, pristine locations, where wildlife and wilderness is the order of the day.

A small-ship luxury cruise in the Galapagos is the ideal tonic for anyone needing to get away from it all. Guests are able to explore the stunning landscapes, beaches and coves that the Galapagos has to offer, away from big tour groups or other tourists. After all, not only is the vast majority of the Galapagos free of people – only 3% of the archipelago is inhabited – but we have even amended our itineraries to avoid visits to inhabited areas of the islands.

And just to make sure you really feel like you have the place to yourself, our captains are in constant contact with nearby vessels to ensure yachts don’t group at any one location.

Relax and take it easy on a wellness break

With the traumatic events that have so deeply affected everyone in 2020, there is a growing awareness of not only our physical, but also mental, well-being, and the need to occasionally unwind and disconnect.

With wellness travel one of the fastest growing forms of vacation, the Galapagos is the perfect place to slow down and recharge.

After all, there aren’t many locations that combine so many of the characteristics that make for the ideal wellness break: a pristine, far-flung location known as one of the most unspoiled places on earth; wildlife a-plenty; excursions and activities to keep you as busy, active and outdoors as you want; plus healthy, sustainably-sourced, and delicious food.

Wrap all this up in to a luxury cruise worthy of the Relais & Chateaux badge and throw in a professional photographer for good measure and our guests can’t help but find themselves relaxed, happy and stress-free in no time!

Spaces on our photography departures fill up rapidly, so to avoid any disappointment do get in touch with the team by email or at Ecoventura on info@galapagosnetwork.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
